The Hawaiian homestead community of Waimanalo celebrated the blessing of their new Community Technology, Education and Employment Center earlier this week.

Federal funds supporting affordable housing for Native Hawaiians should continue to flow, according to a vote today by the U.S. House of Representatives on a bill reauthorizing the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act or NAHASDA.

On Friday, March 6th the State Senate unanimously confirmed  Jobie M. K. Masagatani as Chair of the Hawaiian Homes Commission and Director of the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands.
