Gov. David Ige today signed new administrative rules for Planned Communities, Multi-Family Complexes and Rental Housing within the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands. The new rules will take effect ten days after the signed rules are filed at the Office of the Lt. Governor.

The Department of Hawaiian Home Lands offered 37 turn-key lots in Kapolei’s Kanehili subdivision on Saturday, September 21, 2019.

Hawaiian Homes Commission Chair William J. Aila, Jr. issued the following statement on Friday, September 13, 2019, on the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands request to hire private counsel to advise the Commission on the valuation of compensation through funds and land owed to DHHL, pursuant to Act 14.
