Kapolei Regional Plan Update 2020-2021

Kapolei Regional Plan Update 2020-2021

Regional Plans build a sense of community and capacity, stimulate partnerships for development and improvements, facilitate beneficiary participation in issues and areas of concern, and identify priority projects within existing and planned homestead areas. Regional Plans document current conditions and trends, analyze state and county plans to identify a prioritized list of projects important to the community and the department.

The existing Kapolei Regional Plan was approved in 2010 and is being updated to reflect the current needs, vision, and values important to the Kapolei homestead community.

If you have any questions, or for more information, please contact Pearlyn Fukuba, DHHL Planning Office, (808) 620-9279 or by email at [email protected]

The Kapolei Regional Plan Update will include beneficiary-identified priority projects. A preliminary Project Idea List was developed from Beneficiary Consultation #1 on December 9, 2020, and revised and finalized during Beneficiary Consultation #2 on May 4, 2021.

Kapolei beneficiaries were asked to vote for their top five priority projects by clicking on the Google Form and completing all required questions, including your full name and a valid form of contact (email or telephone) for verification purposes.

The deadline to submit votes was Wednesday, May 19, 2021.
