Project Summary: The Department of Hawaiian Home Lands proposes to construct infrastructure improvements in support of the Nāʻiwa Agricultural Subdivision. The improvements will occur at 58 lots on approximately 340 acres.
Project Purpose: The purpose of this project is to develop infrastructure on these lots creating opportunities for beneficiaries to fully utilize the 58 lots for agriculture and homesteading purposes. The proposed project will include infrastructure improvements including access roadways, driveways, electrical power connections, and irrigation and potable water lines. These improvements will support DHHL beneficiaries through the provision of essential services necessary for agricultural homesteading. While installation of wastewater treatment systems will be the responsibility of the lessee, the environmental impacts are being considered as part of this action.
