The Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (DHHL) is pleased to reach out to applicants on the Hawai’i Islandwide Residential Wait List with application dates up to 12/11/2024, regarding an opportunity to receive an award for a non-parceled, undivided interest project lease on the Island of Hawai’i.

Due to severe weather, Saturday’s Pana‘ewa residential project lease awards has been postponed.

On Friday, March 12, 2026, Governor Josh Green announced statewide closures as emergency management and public safety official prepare for expected impacts to our state. In alignment with these safety measures, the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands’ made the difficult decision to postpone the project lease awards scheduled for March 14, 2026 at the Grand Naniloa Hotel in Hilo.
