The Federal Communications Commission has announced a new Emergency Broadband Benefit program utilizing $3.2 billion to provide qualified households with a discount towards broadband or cellular data service.

Hawaiian Homes Commission Chair William J. Ailā, Jr. issued the following statement regarding House Bill 499.

The Department of Hawaiian Home Lands, through its contractor Goodfellow Brothers, Inc., will begin water line service and fire hydrant replacement work on April 26, 2021 as part of the Department’s two-year Hoʻolehua Water System Capital Improvement Project.

The Department of Hawaiian Home Lands, through its contractor George Oye, Inc., is scheduled to begin water tank construction and maintenance on its Puʻukapu Non-Potable Water System in Puʻukapu, Hawaiʻi Island beginning on April 21, 2021.
