A new tradition is cropping up in Kēōkea, Mauiʻs only agriculture Hawaiian homestead.

The court agreed that DHHL has the legal right to possession of the property, and ordered a writ of possession in favor of DHHL, effective forthwith.

The 24.5-acre project formerly known as East Kapolei II-B sits on the ‘Ewa Plain, mauka of the ‘Ewa Villages Golf Course and east of Kualaka‘i Parkway behind the Kroc Community Center.

Proposals must be good public policy for the department; must address the department’s operations, programs, regulations, processes, budget and/or resources; and must create a benefit or an advantage for the department, the trust, or trust beneficiaries, or otherwise correct a current deficiency.

On May 20, 2014, the Hawaiian Homes Commission approved the Puukapu Hybrid Water System Equipment and Installation Fees, and Interim Water Rates for One Year.
