Department of Hawaiian Home Lands
The Department of Hawaiian Home Lands, through its contractor Sunshine Landscape Company, is scheduled to conduct tree trimming and tree removal work within homestead communities in West Oʻahu during the month of November.
The Department of Hawaiian Home Lands, through its contractor Underground Services, Inc., is scheduled to flush the underground sewer line below Puha Street in Waimānalo, Oʻahu beginning on Monday, November 15, 2021. Work is anticipated to be completed in two to three days.
The Hawaiian Homes Commission has approved a $312 million Sufficient Sums supplemental budget request drafted by the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands. The Department’s approved request will move forward to the Governor for consideration in the administration’s executive budget request to the 2022 legislature.
The Department of Hawaiian Home Lands has prepared legislative proposals to be recommended for inclusion in the Governor’s next legislative package following a solicitation for public input.
