Lualualei Parcel Boundary Study, Waiʻanae, Island of Oʻahu
The Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (DHHL) would like to inform Māʻili Kai Residents of upcoming fieldwork in the area shown on the included map. The purpose of this work is to define property boundaries of a lot on Lualualei Homestead Road.
The fieldwork includes:
- Boundary and topographic surveys
- Use of drone-based LiDAR scanning
- Field crews working in and around the designated area
The fieldwork will begin on August 29, 2025, and will continue intermittently for two weeks. Work hours will be Monday through Friday, typically from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The DHHL requests that homestead residents accommodate the work in the area and allow safe and unobstructed access to the public roadways so that the work may be conducted as safely as possible.
Field workers will be wearing proper identification. Minor and temporary traffic control during fieldwork hours will be required. The DHHL highly appreciates the cooperation from homestead residents.
