DHHL TO HOLD COMMUNITY MEETING ON ACCESS CONCERNS THROUGH HAWAIIAN HOMELANDS ON HAWAIʻI ISLAND

NAʻALEHU, HAWAIʻI ISLAND – The Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (DHHL) will host a community meeting to address concerns regarding access through Hawaiian homelands in Kaʻū on Hawaiʻi Island.

The meeting will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at the Naʻalehu Community Center at 95-5635 Hawaiʻi Belt Road.

Department personnel will be on site to address questions relating to the closure of access gates on DHHL lands, as well as the potential closure of additional access points on neighboring properties.
