NOTICE TO RESIDENTS

 

WEST OʻAHU SEWER IMPROVEMENTS – WAIʻANAE SUBDIVISION

Please be advised there will be sewerline improvements work fronting your property along Kāneʻaki St (between Kapaekahi Street and 85-1402 Kāneʻaki Street) and Kapaekahi St (between Kāneʻaki Street and Koʻolina Street) as shown above.

Construction work is scheduled to start on June 3, 2024 and last approximately three weeks. Work hours are from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday, except holidays. This work may affect usage of sewer-related utilities when work on your sewer lateral is being conducted. The Contractor may request property owners to limit water usage during these times and will provide advance notice prior to performing the work.

Motorists are advised to observe and obey all traffic controls, posted signs and special duty police officers and to proceed with caution through the construction area. Drivers should anticipate delays due to detours, lane closures; and to allow extra travel time while driving through the work areas. The Contractor will coordinate local traffic including residents, deliveries, trash collection and emergency services. On street parking within the construction area will be prohibited during working hours. PLEASE OBSERVE THE DATES AND TIMES ON THE POSTED ROADWAY SIGNS. Illegally parked vehicles will be towed, if necessary, at the owner’s expense. Motorists are advised to proceed with caution through the construction area.
