CNHA offering self-help program
Posted on Oct 6, 2011 in Department of Hawaiian Home LandsThe Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement (CNHA) assists groups of DHHL waitlist families in building new affordable homes throughout the state through the Homestead Self Help Program. CNHA is planning to provide financial literacy, construction technical assistance and more to build 10 additional homes in Piilani Mai Ke Kai, Anahola, Kauai and up to 20 additional homes in Kanehili, Kapolei, Oahu.
CNHA is conducting orientation workshops on Oahu and Kauai about the Homestead Self Help Program and other CNHA services including the Hawaii Family finance Project, Hawaiian Individual Development Accounts, Homestead Energy Program, Cultural Connections Program and more.
