The Hawaiian Home Lands Trust honored employees for their outstanding service to the trust.
Team of the Year honors went to the Successorship Team which came up with innovative ways to reduce the backlog of successor forms that needed to be processed. Employees came from the O’ahu District Office and Applications Branch of the Homestead Services Division.
Employee of the Year was awarded to Nella Kauwenaole of the Information and Community Relations Office.
Manager of the Year went to Fiscal Office Administrator James Pao who was honored for leading his staff in a method of fiscal responsibility that was used as a model for other state departments.
The department celebrated the accomplishments and service of our employees during a ceremony on Oct. 3 at Hale Ponoʻī.
