Department of Hawaiian Home Lands

After careful consideration of beneficiary feedback and public comment, the Hawaiian Homes Commission voted unanimously to proceed on an alternative energy wind project proposed by NextEra Energy Resources, LLC, to be located on Hawaiian home lands in Kahikinui, Maui. All comments and questions received were recorded and addressed in a final report by DHHL staff to the Hawaiian Homes Commission at its October 2015 meeting.
