Waimānalo Traffic Calming Measures Scheduled

(Waimānalo, Oʻahu) – The Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (DHHL), through its contractor Haron Construction Inc., will begin installing traffic calming measures along Nakini Street and Huli Street in Waimānalo, Oʻahu on Monday, February 13, 2023. Work is anticipated to run through early May, weather permitting.

The project consists of asphalt concrete speed tables, traffic delineators, new signs and signposts, and associated pavement markings. New concrete sidewalks and curbs will also be constructed as part of the effort.

Area residents can expect construction noise and slower traffic conditions Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. during the scheduled construction period.
