We don’t own the Kaka’ako makai lands. The Kaka’ako mauka lands in that area are owned by Kamehameha Schools, mostly. The Kaka’ako land Diamond Head of Ward Ave. is owned mostly by the Ward Estate.

It sounds great, but can you really find Ohana’s that can finance and purchase the homes. If you look into the current DHHL database of the family income of Native Hawaiians (If you have one), and see what percentage of applicants can meet the qualification guidelines. Otherwise, you may have grandiose plans that cannot be implemented. I would expect more analysis, economic and systems before moving forward.
