2014 DHHL Beneficiary Study UnderwayPosted on Aug 11, 2014 in Beneficiary Consultation, Community News, Department of Hawaiian Home Lands, Planning Office, Public Information, Public Notice
The Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (DHHL) continues to research better ways to manage Hawaiian Home Lands. One of the tools we use is the DHHL Beneficiary Study, which we conduct approximately every five years.
The first step in the study is to gather some information from everyone who is a Beneficiary. DHHL is printing and mailing 37,000 surveys which will be mailed to all Beneficiaries during the month of August 2014. When you receive your survey please fill it out and mail it via the enclosed pre-paid envelope.
The data generated is used to develop homestead programs and services and also enable DHHL to secure funding for native Hawaiians.
The originally requested response date was August 22, 2014, but due to delays the deadline has been extended to September 19,2014.
For further information, please see the linked PDFs below containing the results of our 2008 Applicant and Lessee Surveys:
