The public is invited to view free showings of two critically acclaimed film presentations on homelessness and to a discussion on this critically important topic by the Hawai’i State Coordinator on Homelessness, Colin Kippen.
DATE: Thursday, December 13, 2012
TIME: 6:00pm – 8:30pm
PLACE: University of Hawai’i at Manoa’s Art Auditorium (2535 McCarthy Mall)
- HEATER (directed by Terrance Odette) with acclaimed Canadian First Nations actor Gary Farmer (also starred in “Powwow Highway,” “Smoke signals,” and “Dead Man.”
- DREAM WHAT COULD BE DONE (directed by Matt Glickstein) with the children of Lana’i – Class of 2020.
Actor Gary Farmer and director Matt Glickstein will be present to respond to questions.
