Jan. 6, 2011 – Kamehameha Schools today welcomed Lance Wilhelm as the newest Kamehameha Trustee with elegant and moving Investiture ceremonies held at Kawaiaha’o Church.

Wilhelm was named to the position by the Hawai’i Probate Court on Oct. 21 last year to replace retiring Trustee Diane Plotts effective Jan. 1.

Joined by his family in the church, Wilhelm took the oath of office and then joined trustees J. Douglas Ing, Chairman, Micah Kāne, Janeen-Ann Ahulani Olds and Corbett Kalama to complete the board.

Wilhelm is a 1983 graduate of Kamehameha Schools and was previously Senior Vice President and Area Manager for Kiewit Building Group Inc., which recently won the $482 million contract for construction of the first phase of Honolulu’s rail transit system.
